CVS Week 0f 7-29-12

Reason I say week of is because I've made one trip of two/three planned this week (was hoping to only make one, but I'm still waiting on some coupons to come in the mail, and I forgot to clip my Ragu coupons before I went this morning).  So, loaded up the car with all 4 kiddos about noon and headed to CVS....trip went great!  :)

Got everything in one transaction - also I used some of the benefits off my last Lonestar (food stamps) card, since I FINALLY got a job, we won't be receiving the benefits anymore.

Here's the breakdown:
4 Apple Jacks cereal - $2/each = $8
4 Froot Loops cereal - $2/each = $8
8 Pop Tarts - $2/each = $16
2 Gallons of milk - $3.49/each = $6.98
6 Head and Shoulders shampoos - $4.99/each = $29.94
4 Edge shave gel - $2.99/each = $11.96
4 Skintimate shave gel - $3.89/each = $15.56
2 Neosporin - $5.29/each = $10.58
1 Band Aid 60ct = $3.69
2 Suave body wash - $2/each = $4
2 Suave deodorant - $1/each = $2
1 CVS bodywash = $3.79
1 Rockstar Energy drink = $1.50
1 Beanie baby - $5.99 (daughter had to have it and paid me back)
1 Trident gum - $1.37 (son had to have it)

Total before coupons = $129.36 (WOW!  and that's exactly what the cashier said...lol)

Coupons used:
2 x $1/3 Apple Jacks or Froot Loops (from the $5 off breakfast packs that come in the boxes awhile back)
2 x $1/3 Pop Tarts (same place as the cereal coupons)
3 x BOGO Free Head & Shoulders (7/1 P&G)
3 x $1/1 Head and Shoulders (7/29 P&G)
4 x $.55/1 Edge Shave gel (7/15 SS I think)
4 x $.55/1 Skintimate Shave gel (7/22 SS I think)
2 x $2/1 Neosporin (6/10 RP)
1 x $.50/1 Band Aid (7/29 RP)
2 x $.75/1 Suave body wash (printable)
2 x $.50/1 Suave deodorant (7/29 RP)
1 x $3/1 CVS body wash (printed from the Magic Red Coupon Machine week of 7/22)
1 x 20% off CVS email coupon - deducted $9.15 (coupon does not work on items on sale)
Used $23 in ECB's from last week

Total after coupons: $64.84 (with tax $66.12)
Paid $41.85 on my Lonestar card
Paid $24.27 cash

Total Savings: $64.52 (or $106.37 if you add the amount I paid with my Lonestar card)
Total savings as shown on receipt (total of coupons and sale prices) = $100.51

Received back $32 in ECBs!!  Woo hoo!!
$5 ECB (x2) wyb $15 worth of select grocery items (cereal and pop tarts)
$10 ECB wyb $25 of Playtex or Schick products
$5 ECB wyb $25 worth of select products (Head and Shoulders)
$5 ECB wyb $12 of Neosporin/Band Aid/Benedryl, etc.
$1 ECB (x2) wyb gallon milk

I plan on returning with my Ragu coupons to get 6 bottles of Ragu, Olay facial cleansers and body wash and the other half of the Suave deal (had to limit it to 2 of each product due to restrictions on the coupon)

Breakdown:

6 Ragu = $10
- 3 x $.50/2 (7/29 RP)
= $8.50 - receive $3 ECB

4 Olay facial cleansers = $14.96
4 Olay body wash = $23.96
- 2 x $3/2 facial wash (7/1 P&G - waiting on these to get here - praying they arrive in the mail tomorrow!)
- 4 x BO cleanser GO body wash free (7/29 P&G)
- $2/$10 facial care purchase (print from Magic Red Machine week of 7/22)
= $6.96 - receive $5 ECB (and I'll be submitting for the $10 wyb $30 Olay rebate!)

2 Suave body wash = $4
2 Suave deodorant = $2
- 2 x $.75/1 (printable)
- 2 x $.50/1 (7/29 RP)
- $1.50 of any deodorant (print from Magic Red Machine week of 7/22)
= $2 - receive $4 ECB (this combined with the 2 suave body wash and 2 deodorants I bought today will get me this ECB - had to split into two separate transaction because of the no more than 2 identical coupons/transaction restriction on the Suave coupons)

So, I'm hoping to get these all in one transaction and be done for this week tomorrow evening....just depends on when my Olay coupons arrive.

If that is the case I will pay $17.46 (plus tax) OOP and get $12 in ECBs.  Haven't decided if I want to use $12 in ECBs that I earned today or if I want to hold on to them for next week.  $32 ECBS sounds good, but $44 sounds better lol!
